Two Cents

First of all I'm very much on the same page as Meredith. After reading the draft one of the major pieces that stands out is the lack of emphasis on context and integration of other knowledge systems and ways of knowing. There is the emphasis for the interconnectedness of the issues and systems, so it would follow nicely that they call for interconnected solutions more explicitly. It is mentioned, but not truly explained. What does this look like? Who/what is included?

Rather than rehash what has already been written, here is some language to consider including: integrated knowledge; working/collaboration across scales and across stakeholders; integration of non-scientific knowledge systems; individual behavioral change and collective action; achieving global sustainability whilst meeting the needs of users...
